Sadly, gone are the days when I could OFTEN find such items as a Thorens TD-160 Turntable for twenty dollars (sold) or my Marantz 1060 Integrated Amp (still own). The 2230 is an awesome sounding unit however, I decided to "swap" the Marantz (other items included) for a brand new MARANTZ 2230 (however, I paid top dollar for a Thrift Shop item). That being said, I recently found a VERY NICE condition Rarely (almost impossible) these days to find any "Analogue" Receivers at the "Thrift Shop". Ooooh, I sure miss the "old days" of finding gear at the "Thrift Shops" Well Sir (especially now) since I've retired, I have a LOT of time on my hands and as such, I hit all the "Thrift Shops" often.Įven still, "LUCK" has a lot to do with finding gear.
